Fluazifop-butyl (CAS No.69806-50-4) is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed by the leaves. Hydrolysed to fluazifop, which is translocated in the xylem and phloem, accumulating in the meristems of annual grasses, and the meristems, rhizomes, and stolons of perennial grasses.
Fluazifop-butyl Useage Fluazifop-butyl is used for post-emergence controlling of annual and perennial grass weeds in broad-leaved crops. Particular uses include control of volunteer cereals and other grass weeds in oilseed rape, sugar beet, fodder beet, potatoes, cotton, soya beans, peanuts, pome fruit, bush fruit, vines, citrus fruit, pineapples, bananas, strawberries, sunflowers, alfalfa, coffee, ornamentals, and many vegetables. Applied at 700-1400 g/ha in fruit and ornamentals, and at 175-350 g/ha in other field crops.
